Tera Camick

This month, we are highlighting the progression to certification of Tera Camick, journeyperson insulator, congratulations!
Tera is a newly licenced insulator working with Pro Insul Inc. and a member of local 131 - International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Asbestos Workers. She lives in Saint John, NB, with her husband and their youngest of four children. After many years working in nursing homes as a caregiver, Tera decided to make a change and offer her family a better life by pursuing a skilled trade, and what a change it has been! What she loves most about her trade is that she is always learning new things. Like many others, one of the only things she dislikes is working in cold weather and trust us it gets cold! Tera's journey in her trade has been possible thanks to great support - her husband, being a journeyperson insulator himself, is her biggest cheerleader, and a good team at work. Tera might seem a bit quiet, but she is a hard-working individual who is trustworthy and responsible she gets the job done! What she has learned in her apprenticeship is to be open because "you will always learn something new". In the summer, when she isn't working, you can find her outdoors, camping and boating.
